san diego photos, part 1

twoelevenwe started our roaming around the city with a brief trip to balboa park, and specifically the san diego museum of art, where we saw such fine art as:

because i really like heavily-textured objects.
at the waterfront, i saw some ships:
well, i'm pretty sure the rest of those ships were there somewhere...
the top floor of our hotel had a big conference room, and since the door wasn't locked, i decided that was as good an excuse as any to see what the view was like. industrial, it seems:
next up: no lions, tigers, nor bears, oh my!
