FridgeQuest, part 2: shop til you drop
Jun. 28th, 2015 07:56 pmwe found a fancy-schmancy fridge we like; it's a french-door bottom-freezer model. we're used to top-freezer fridges, but when we played with this one in the store, we were both happy with how the space is laid out.
it's just a little bigger than our current, mortally wounded one, so we had to go home measure the opening where it'll sit again. it'll just barely fit: about 6mm clearance on the top. fortunately, that's just from the bottom overhang of the cabinet above the space, so there's a bit more room for ventilation than it seems.
delivery is scheduled for thursday, so we get to see if we can keep the current one on life support until then. such fun.
