a change in the weather

twoelevenover the past few days, the weather changed from lower 80s and humid to mid-50s and dry. as far as our inner mammals are concerned, this is proof that winter has arrived, and we should frantically prepare for hibernation. so, we've put on our sweaters and are eating way too much sweets, apparently in an effort to build up our fat reserves.
tomorrow, the temperature will return to around 70, and then it'll be around 60 for the rest of the week. hopefully, our inner mammals will realize that a) it's still fall and b) we're members of a technically advanced society, and really don't need any more fat, thanks. :P
in somewhat related news, something's outer mammal ate all the flowers and most of the leaves off of one of my nasturtiums.
