so, way back in the end of last october, i visited randomdreams and threemeninaboat. as i'm wont to do, i took far too many pictures.



there were rocks that should not be, like this bit of silver bonsai:



(really, it's denritic silver, as dug out of the ground.)

and this bit of aragonite, which looks like coral:



i also liked the escher-esque staircase in this hunk of calcite:

the detail work has to be seen to be appreciated, like this few-cm-tall chicken in the previous photo:

As a very visual person with a lousy memory I love this because every one of those pictures made me remember what we were doing and talking about when you were taking them.

My new office is in a less ..entertaining.. part of town, however the train stop is across the street. So next time you can take the train. :)
