snooow daaay

we finally got snow here, very late in the season. usually, the first measurable snow is mid-december. it seems this area ended up with 7-8cm of snow, though the amounts dropped quickly heading north.

as is usual, i don't work the first snowy day of the season. since there was work i had to do, the vacation will be observed tomorrow.
