ah, tech support!
Sep. 9th, 2014 05:01 pmi have a fancy-schmancy polar heart rate sensor: an h7, which talks to my iFoo. (actually, it talks bluetooth, so it'll work with lots of hardware and software.) earlier this summer it became terse, surly, and eventually completely silent. i sent it back for repairs after waving the usual dead chickens in its direction (changing the battery, hard reset, re-syncing it w/ my iFoo).
polar sent it back saying they'd changed the battery, which did exactly zippo for it. of course not, since i'd sent it to them with a new battery. so i sent them a flame-o-gram, and they said to send it back again. i just got it back (again).
OT1H, the note that came back with it says "no problems found". OTOH, the H7 that came back a) has a much larger serial number than the one i returned; and b) works fine. so, indeed, there are no problems with the shiny new one.
