Nov. 27th, 2014 03:12 pmcompared to two years ago, this year's hotel french-name's thanksgiving dinner was a bit better attended. there were only 17 tables set: nine small tables, for 2-4 people, eight of which were occupied, but also eight large ones seating eight, all of which were surrounded by people eating, drinking, and being merry.
also, there were at least four more large tables set up in a third room of the brandywine suite, and i'm not sure i'd seen that before. they're probably for later seatings. the price was up slightly: now, it's $58 a person.
we're utterly stuffed. we'll see if there's a need for dinner. eventually, when we're capable of movement.
