dodged the white doom

we got only 8cm of snow, though we had high winds and (for this area) bitter cold, with air temperatures in the single digits (°F;°K would be chilly indeed).

downstate, they got 30+cm, which would have been more like what i was hoping for. but then i'd still be digging out, even with the snow blower's help.
