Feb. 1st, 2022 05:57 pmtoday's batch of seed catalogs included one for small-scale farmers, especially small-scale flower farmers. i guess they got my name from the wildflower pusher i order seed from by the pound.
observations:
* even domesticated flower seed is cheap when you buy it in lots of 5,000 seeds or by the ounce.
* tulip bulbs are preposterously cheap when bought in lots of 1,000. sadly, i lack a machine to plant them with, or some of the random local pieces of unmaintained land would never be the same.
as it is, the overgrown lot liberation front may launch a full-scale offensive on ugly this spring.
