monday morning doomcast: both more and less grim

the center of the storm is now expected to pass right over us, so our winds will be a little higher. otoh, most of the rain we're expected to get will fall before the winds peak, which should help our trees remain in the upright and locked position. i still expect electricity will fail at some point.
